Upon original purchase of your Cooke Optics lens, we ask that you retain your purchase receipt and complete the online Cooke Optics Warranty registration form within 30 days. Registering your new Cooke lens is quick and simple and creates a record that can be used as proof of your purchase or if your product is lost or stolen. Your Warranty will commence from date of purchase.
Cooke Optics Limited Warranty guarantees all Cooke lenses, intended for use by professionals, will be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year after date of purchase. Cooke Optics reserves the right, before having any obligation under this warranty, to inspect the damaged Cooke Optics product, and all costs of shipping the Cooke product to a Cooke authorized Service Centre for inspection are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
In order to recover under this warranty, Purchaser must present acceptable proof of original ownership (such as original receipt, on-line registration, or other documentation Cooke Optics deems acceptable) for the product. Cooke Optics, at its option, shall repair or replace the defective unit covered by this warranty. Please retain the dated sales receipt with lens serial number as evidence of the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or any damage due to accident, misuse, abuse or negligence. This warranty is non-transferable and does not apply to any purchaser who bought the product from a reseller or distributor not authorized by Cooke Optics. This warranty does not affect any other legal rights you may have by operation of law.
To obtain service under this Warranty, the original owner must deliver the Cooke lens to an authorized Cooke Optics Service Centre, together with a document identifying the Cooke Optics warranty with proof of online registration or the bill of sale with dated proof of purchase identifying the Cooke lens by serial number.
Laws Courts and Jurisdiction
Any dispute or claim arising out of or in accordance with this warranty (including non contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and Cooke Optics Limited and the Purchaser agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this warranty.
Beyond the first 12 months, Cooke provides a rapid-service facility in the UK at a competitive hourly rate plus parts. Call or e-mail for prompt answers to any questions.
